Roots Beyond the Algorithm

Hi, I am Alina, a Data Privacy Expert, AI governance speaker, writer and life coach who believes the most powerful thing you can bring to an AI-driven world is knowing who you are when the algorithm cannot help you.

For years, I worked at the intersection of regulation and technology. Studying frameworks. Building compliance structures. Speaking about AI in different forums.

And yet……

There were days when I opened an AI tool and still felt like a child standing at the edge of horizon, not entirely sure where to step in or out first.

Until I realized that the feeling was not weakness. It was honesty. And honesty is where everything real begins.

What I have learned:

• You do not need to know everything about AI. You need to stay curious about it.
• The most dangerous thing is not AI itself. It is the quiet erosion of your own judgment when you stop using it.
• Technology changes what we do. It has never changed what only we can bring.

What I do:

I work in data privacy and AI governance professionally. I study the EU AI Act, the GDPR, the regulatory frameworks that shape how AI is allowed to operate in our world.

And I built this space because none of that is enough on its own.

Because the real questions are not technical. They are human.

What does this mean for who I am? What does only I bring that no algorithm can replace? How do I stay myself while everything changes around me?

My approach:

Honest before polished and human before technical. Curious before certain and rooted before reaching.

I am a woman who feels deeply, thinks clearly and acts consciously. I believe in small honest growth with one real step at a time. I believe in the power of naming what is hard before rushing to fix it.

And I believe that the future belongs to the people who remain deeply, unapologetically human.

A little more about me:

I am a Data Protection Officer with years of experience in AI governance and compliance at Allianz Services Romania. I am a confirmed speaker at ICA AI Week 2026. I am studying  human behavior because understanding people has always mattered to me as much as understanding systems.

I am also a writer. Author of five books on transformation, healing and identity. The voice behind WhisperingBlossom is a space for personal growth and conscious living.

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a woman who juggles a full life and chooses presence over perfection every single day.

Why this space exists:

Because capable, intelligent, caring people are quietly afraid.

Not of AI buttons and tools but of something deeper: their relevance, their purpose and their place in a world that is moving faster than any of us can fully breathe through.

I know that fear because I have sat with it myself.

Roots Beyond the Algorithm is the space where we sit with it together. Honestly and without performance, without pretending we have all the answers.
